Camp 2018 Presenting…The Fables of Jean de la Fontaine!
Mount a play in one week’s time while learning from energetic, outgoing theatre professionals! This year’s play is based on the Fables of Jean de la Fontaine. Auditions will be held on Monday morning, and camp concludes with 2 performances open to the public on Saturday. This camp provides teens with an immersive and diverse theater experience. When you are not rehearsing, you will spend your time taking workshops in subjects ranging from scenework, improv, mime, stage management, design and more. In addition, campers will work together to create the set and props as well as to help with costume preparation. Campers will be placed into groups based on age, experience and language background. No knowledge of French is required to participate, but for our Francophile/Francophone campers, we will adapt to parents’ and campers’ desires to integrate French into the workshops and performances. We have two camps available: Week 1 (June 11-16) is for 7-12 grade, and Week 2 (June 18-23) is for 1-6 grade.
Registration: Register HERE for 7-12 Grades, and Register HERE for 1-6 Grades
