Created in partnership with Penobscot Theatre, Je Ne Suis Pas Evangeline (I Am Not Evangeline) is an original story about a modern-day woman, Eva, wrestling with the ideals of French Acadian womanhood in the poem “Evangeline: A Tale of Acadie” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
